The cylinder has been now applied in vehicle with its characteristics of higher pressure, lighter weight, safer performance, stronger environmental adaptation capability and better heat resistance.
CNG Cylinder Type 3
Type 3 tanks have a metal liner(typically aluminum) and are completely wrapped with a composite material. Their capacity starts getting larger and getting a 23 GGE tank is a more reasonable choice for fleets. These larger capacity tanks allow a vehicle to be able to travel a lot farther on one fill.
